How to refresh your browser cache

Refreshing your browser cache helps ensure you’re loading the most up-to-date version of a webpage. If you’re having trouble viewing new changes or updates, try the steps below for your browser.

Chrome

Desktop

  1. On your keyboard, press Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows) or Command + Shift + R (Mac).
  2. Alternatively, select the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
  3. Go to More tools > Clear browsing data.
  4. Choose Cached images and files, then select Clear data.

Mobile (Android/iOS)

  1. Tap the three-dot menu.
  2. Select History > Clear browsing data.
 
 

Safari

Desktop (Mac)

  1. Select Safari > Preferences from the top menu.
  2. Go to the Advanced tab and check Show Develop menu in menu bar.
  3. From the top menu, select Develop > Empty Caches.
  4. To refresh the current page, press Command + Option + R.

Mobile (iPhone/iPad)

  1. Go to your device Settings > Safari.
  2. Scroll down and tap Clear History and Website Data.
  3. Tap Clear History and Data to confirm.
 
 

Firefox

Desktop

  1. On your keyboard, press Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows) or Command + Shift + R (Mac).
  2. Alternatively, select the three-line menu in the top-right corner.
  3. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security.
  4. Under Cookies and Site Data, select Clear Data.
  5. Check Cached Web Content, then select Clear.

Mobile

  1. Tap the three-line menu.
  2. Select Settings > Delete browsing data.
  3. Check Cached images and files, then tap Delete browsing data.
 
 

Microsoft Edge

Desktop

  1. On your keyboard, press Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows) or Command + Shift + R (Mac).
  2. Alternatively, select the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
  3. Go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services.
  4. Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear.
  5. Select Cached images and files, then click Clear now.

Mobile

  1. Tap the three-dot menu.
  2. Go to Settings > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data.
  3. Check Cached images and files, then tap Clear data.
