Event Listings for Series allows customisation to highlight specific days on the calendar and add messaging for those days.  Special colours on particular calendar days provide a visual queue to customers that there is something unique about that day of the attraction, and selecting that day will reveal that extra bit of detail.

This attraction holds "sensory friendly days" on August 18 and 19th.  So when customers select one of those days, they see informational text detailing what those days are about:

How To Configure

1. In the Event Listings CMS, head to the Content > Tickets section and scroll down and select the Customise Calendar option.
2. With the calendar now displayed, highlight the range of days that you'd like to customise, clicking on the first day then the last to make your selection.
3. Options will appear for adding custom text and colours.
   

   

4. Use the tools shown to set the colour and the desired custom messaging. The custom description supports some light formatting, including bullet and numbered lists and hyperlinks.
   

   💡 There is no limit to the length of the description, but aesthetically it is recommended to keep to about 35 words or fewer.

    
5. Once the colour and description have been chosen, select Done.
   You'll now see the days with customisation are indicated with a yellow dot on the calendar selector (this does not appear to the customer).
6. Click Save and Publish to publish the changes
   

   Please note: After saving, it may take up to 2 minutes before you can see the changes you have made.

    

It is also possible to add additional custom event info for series child events by time slot.

Calendar Legend

Add a legend to your calendar to explain the meaning of the calendar day colours.

1. In the Event Listings CMS, head to the Tickets section, then scroll down to the Customise Calendar option.  
2. Make sure you have assigned colours to your calendar first.  Otherwise, there will only be one standard option.
3. Below the Calendar, you will see a heading for Calendar Legend.
4. Click on the Manage Calendar Legend button.
   

   

5. Determine which colours you want to display on the legend by toggling off/on.
6. Type in a description for the legend colour.
7. Check the box to "Show a legend below the calendar for different coloured dates."
8. Click Done.

The calendar legend option is available on both Event Listings and Embed.
