Create a Product

Adding products such as, merchandise or other items allows you to sell these directly from your event page, as an add-on during the checkout process, or as part of a Bundle.

Event Ticketing does not process or send your items. Products must be added to an event/package to be sold.

Coupons do not work with products.

Creating Products

Step 1: On the dashboard, Click on Manage.

Step 2: Scroll down to the Products section and click Create Product to start. 

Step 3: Fill out the details of the product. When you are done, Click Save and Continue

Note: Fields that are marked with an asterisk are required fields. Toggle Shippable to "Yes" if you want to grant the customer the option to have the product shipped to their address. Shipping fee are not charged for pick-up products.

 

Step 4: In step 2 of the product setup, you need to set the price, shipping cost, whether the product is taxable, and the service fee (if you want the buyer to shoulder the service fee, the default value would be 0%). 

Click Save and Continue after filling out the details. 

Step 5: In step 3 of the product setup, you will be asked if the product is Single or Multiple. This is also where you put the quantity of the product, per-sale limit, etc. Once you've done this, Click Save and Continue.

Note: Choose Single Product if the product has only one size, one colour, etc.; otherwise, choose Multiple

Step 6: Review the details, then click Launch the Product! 

Step 7: Now, all you need to do is attach the product you just created to your event. Click Event at the top of the menu. Then select which event you'd like the product added to and click Edit

Step 8: Proceed to Inventory to attach the product. Under Products, click Add A Product as shown in the image. 

Step 9: Select the product you created on the drop-down menu and click Submit. Done! 

Product Settings

The first time you try to create a new product listing, you will be prompted to enter your default product settings. Please fill out this page before you attempt to continue with the process.

  • Tax Rate - Enter the tax rate you wish to apply to each product sold.
  • Shipping Flat Fee - Enter the flat fee you wish to apply to cover each item's shipping and handling costs.
  • Shipping Description - Enter an explanation for the shipping cost and any instructions for the recipient if needed.
  • Service Fee Covered - Enter the amount (percentage) of service fee your organisation wishes to cover on each product sold. Leave the field at the default zero if you wish to have the customer cover the entire service fee in the product cost.
