Wallet is an Apple iOS app that stores barcodes for event tickets, boarding passes, and other items.
Activating Wallet for Your Events
There is no additional activation or setup process for events that already have mobile ticket delivery enabled as an option.
Customisation
Our Apple Wallet "ticket" is not currently customisable for colour or changing out images.
Naming Events on Tickets
Our Applet Wallet tickets do not auto-fit (adjust text size) the event name pulled from the “event name” or the price level name pulled from the “price level name” in the admin.
Sticking to around 30-35 characters is best, as characters have different sizes (E.g., the letter I versus M).
Downloading Tickets
When a buyer purchases a ticket and opts for mobile delivery, they immediately receive a text message containing a link. If the buyer uses a compatible device, clicking on this link opens a splash page with two options: "Open in Wallet" and "Open in Browser." By selecting "Open in Wallet," the ticket is downloaded directly to the device's wallet application, which can be accessed at any time until the event occurs. The ticket, stored in the wallet, contains a barcode that can be scanned at the event venue just like any other mobile ticket.
💡 To ensure a smooth entry to the event and avoid potential internet connectivity issues at the venue, event organisers should strongly recommend that all ticket holders download their tickets to their Apple Wallet in advance.
Order Level Barcodes
Order-level QR codes are not a printable option on PDF print-at-home tickets; they are only available by printing the confirmation email. However, consumers may add the order-level QR code from the email to their Apple Wallet.
When a customer clicks on the "add to Apple Wallet" icon in their confirmation email, a single pass with the order-level barcode is added to their Apple Wallet. This action occurs whether "multiple mobile tickets on a single page" is enabled or not.

This pass is the order level barcode. When a ticket buyer flips over the pass to see the information on the back, the order summary will appear with all tickets on the order.
Multi-Day Pass Single Events
Apple Wallet currently does not support multiple-day Events.
An example would be a single event that states it is suitable for a 2-day pass venue entry on Saturday and Sunday. Where the customer buys one ticket and can scan in for entry on both Saturday and Sunday.
When a customer adds this single event 2-day pass ticket to an Apple Wallet, the Wallet ticket will be the date of the event programme in the Admin.
- If the event date in the Admin is Saturday, when Sunday comes around, the Wallet ticket will move to the expired portion of the Apple Wallet, which can confuse customers trying to find the ticket.
- If the event date in the Admin is Sunday, customers may be confused about how to scan their ticket for Saturday.
- If you change the event date in the Admin from Saturday to Sunday, our Apple Wallet currently does not update in real-time. Thus, the customer would not receive an update in the Wallet, and the ticket would go to the Apple Wallet expired area.
