How to Create an Event - Listing & Description

The Listing feature allows you to customize the design and content of the event listing page.

Table of Contents

The final step allows you to customise the design and content of the classic-style event listing page.

  • Description - Enter additional event details or add other content, such as flyers, photos, videos, etc., to the event page. This field supports basic HTML for editing font sizes and embedding content within the designated area. (Refer to this HTML guide for basic help with HTML editing.)

  • Event Website - Add a link to your website for customers looking for more info.
  • Event Image - Upload an image above the event description area on the event page. This image will also identify your event on our website's search engine.

Template

The template allows you to control the design of your event listing page. This will determine the look and feel of your default 'classic' listing. If you want to build a highly personalised and branded event page experience, you will want to create a new style listing using the Event Listing Editor.

You can also embed your ticketing page directly on your website. Refer to Embedded Listings.

  • Select a Template - Select the default template or a custom template for the event listing page. Custom templates can be added in the Manage tab.

If you are building an Event Series, the next step will be setting the series schedule.

The final step lets you confirm your event details before publishing the event page.

  • Review all of the event details. Click any step button to return to a specific page to make changes.
  • If the event's details are correct, click Launch Event to finish the setup and publish the event page.
