The Timeslot Buyout feature allows guests to reserve an entire timeslot with a single click. Designed to support attraction experiences, this tool enables venues to offer exclusive time slot reservations. When a buyout is selected, standard admission options for that timeslot are automatically removed from availability, ensuring accurate inventory control.

Before You Begin: Important Notes
Event Listings Only: Timeslot Buyout options appear only on Event Listing pages and in the Box Office. If you’re using both Classic and Listings, the option will not show on the Classic page.
Buyout Label: The system adds a visible buyout badge to help guests and staff identify this exclusive pricing option across the platform.

Setting Up a Timeslot Buyout
Follow these steps to enable a Timeslot Buyout for your event:
- Go to the Inventory step of your event setup.
- Click the ellipses (⋯) next to the Add Price Level button and select Add Timeslot Buyout.

- Configure the Buyout Price Level
- Most settings are the same as a standard price level.
-
Key differences to note:

-
Number of tickets (issued per purchase): Defaults to the timeslot capacity; however, a lower amount can be configured if needed (Ex, If for operational purposes, you find it easier to issue one ticket/QR, you can make that decision. Regardless of the quantity, the timeslot will still be considered “sold out” if the buyout option is reserved
-
NOTE:
- See the all-setting override option below (Customisation)
- Quantity must be between timeslot max and the event transaction limit
- Reporting implications - once a timeslot buyout is reserved on a timeslot, it will be designated as sold out and not available online or in the box office even if less than the timeslot capacity is issued in the buyout
-
Delivery Method: You can give customer the option to choose their delivery based on what is available on the event or require a certain method specifically for the buyout option.

-
NOTE:
Additional Details
Once a timeslot buyout is configured and made available online, it will be displayed on the event listing page, just like standard price levels.

- Custom Headers
- Custom Calendar Colours and Descriptions indicating which days buyouts are available
- Bulk edit tools to hide or make active buyouts on specific dates/times
Fees
Timeslot Buyouts are treated like bundles when it comes to fees.
Service Fees
- Calculate Service Fees in a per-ticket method
- Calculate based on the per ticket value and what fee tier this price falls into X the number of tickets.
- Per ticket value = Price of the Buyout/amount of tickets in buyout. (Example: buyout costs $50 and includes 25 tickets, the per ticket price is $2
- Per Ticket Fee Amount is based on the fee tier that $2 falls into
- Total amount charged = Per Ticket Fee Amount X number of tickets
- Custom Per Ticket Fee: charges the per ticket fee X amount of times based on the amount of tickets included in the buyout (ex 50 tickets = fee added 50 times)
- Fee Allocations: Service fee tier is determined by per ticket value. Fee is charged based on the number of tickets in the buyout
- Order Level Fee: charges once per order independent of settings
Coupons
Standard price level/bundle assignment logic applies.
-
Discount:
- Percentage - discount is evenly distributed based on face value.
-
Flat - flat amount applies to each ticket in buyout based on assignment limits. For this reason, use caution when applying flat discounts.
- Ex: If 50 tickets in a buyout and a flat coupon can be used more than 50 times, the discount will apply to all 50 tickets
