Seat Holds & Recurring Hold Functionality

Note: Recurring holds must be set up before the event is created.

 

Set Up Recurring Holds

  1. Navigate to the Manage tab
  2. Go to Venues
  3. Click the Venue ID
  4. In the upper-right corner, select Manage Recurring Holds
  5. Choose your Seating Chart
  6. Click Manage Hold Types > Add Hold Type 
  7. Click Add/Remove Recurring Holds
  8. Select the hold category
  9. Select the seats to be held

Non-Recurring Seat Holds

These can be set up after the event is created.

 
  1. For an event series build: 
    1. Navigate to the specific event’s date and time, aka the “child” event.
  2. Select View Seating Inventory
  3. Click Manage Hold Types
  4. Add a new hold type if needed
  5. Click Add/Remove Seat Holds
  6. Choose your hold category
  7. Select the seats to hold

Additional Details

Override Existing Seat Hold

Users can now override existing holds without needing to remove the original hold first. 

To do this, select Add/Remove Seat Holds > Check the box for "Override existing seat hold" when assigning the new hold.

Selling Held Seats

Held seats can be sold via the Box Office
