How to schedule a price status change

Scheduling when a price level changes status is a great feature that allows organizers to effectively manage Ticket Price Levels. This feature automatically disables or activates a price level when a specific date is met.

Scheduling when a price level changes status is a great feature that allows organisers to manage Ticket Price Levels effectively. This feature automatically disables or activates a price level when a specific date is met. 

This is best used for creating Pre-Sale or Early Bird tickets.

 

Step 1: Select the Events tab at the top of the admin.

Step 2: Choose the event that you would like to edit, then click the 'pencil' edit icon:

Step 3: Go to Inventory, select the applicable price level, click the three dots, and select Schedule a Status Change.

Step 4: Set the status and date of the Ticket Level. The status will change once the date is met.

  • Active - Set price level to active when a specific date is met
  • Inactive - Disable the chosen price level when a specific date is met 

Note: For Early Bird Tickets, make sure to 'Hide Online' the General Admission, VIP, etc., to show only the Early Bird price level. 

Set the GA, VIP, etc, to be "Active" after the Early bird tickets end.
