Talent Management

If you are interested in using the talent feature for your events, please contact our support team.

Method 1: During Event Creation

On the first step of your event creation (Details), you will see a block at the very bottom of the page called "Talent". Click the + Manage Talent button and search for the artist/comedian you want to add to your event.

After selecting your first artist, you can continue to search for any additional artists and add them to your event.

Method 2: From The Event Overview Page

Navigate to the Event Overview page of your event and locate the Talent block on the left underneath Manage. Click Add Talent.

In the Add Talent search field, begin typing the name of the artist, musician, comedian, etc., you wish to add to the event. The search results will update with a slight delay after you have stopped typing.

Click the talent entry to add it to the event.

If the talent you wish to add does not appear in the search results, click the first result: Add new entry for [your talent].

Editing Talents

Whether you added an existing talent or created a new one, the editing options available are virtually the same. The only significant difference is the Source dropdown.

For talents from the database, Auto is selected by default — this option means that the talent will always pull the latest info from the database. To edit or enter new information in a field, switch the dropdown to Custom — this option means that updates from the database will be ignored, and your custom info will stay on the talent. You may switch freely between these options.

The fields you may edit for each talent include the following:

  • Name
  • Bio
  • Poster Image
  • Video
  • Twitter
  • YouTube
  • SoundCloud
  • Instagram
  • Spotify
  • Facebook

Embed options are not supported in these fields; only URL links to videos, images, etc. are supported.

Other Talent Options

In the right sidebar for each talent, a handful of other options are available.

The Display if available checkboxes determine whether to show the fields associated with each category.

The Headliner checkbox has two effects:

  1. Forces the talent to the top of the list of talents on the event page
  2. Flags the talent as a “Headliner” in the events API
