Delayed delivery of electronic tickets is an option to delay customers from accessing their tickets until a specific date/time or one relative to their event's start time. Delayed delivery is only available for digital ticket delivery methods (E-Ticket, Print at Home, Mobile).

Configuring Delayed Delivery
- Navigate to the Checkout Settings on event creation
- Open the Delayed Delivery CMS using the ellipses found in the Delivery Method section

- Enable Delayed Delivery and choose whether you want tickets delivered on a specific date and time or relative based on the event’s start

Optional: Enter custom text that will appear when the customer attempts to access their ticket before their delivery.
- The default text is: “This event has delayed the release of ticket information. You will see your ticket information here closer to the event.”

Optional: Configure a notification email to customers when their tickets become available by enabling “Notify Customer When Ticket is Available.” Enter custom text for the email body if desired (default text: ““The tickets to your event are now available”. Email subject will be: ““Your Tickets for {event}”"
- The notification email features elements of the confirmation email and the reminder email, displaying prominent information like event name, location, time, and ticket delivery options as configured on the event.
Note: The delay notification email follows the Reminder email settings. So if any info is hidden from the event reminder (via advanced settings) it will also be hidden from the delay notification email.
